EDGE ERP
EDGE is Arridex's custom-built internal enterprise resource planning system, and one of the four platforms you now have oversight of.
What EDGE is
EDGE is a custom-built internal ERP, meaning it was developed in-house rather than licensed from a vendor. It runs the operational backbone of the business, and it also serves external vendors through a dedicated vendor management portal. It is currently in the process of being renamed and moved to a new domain, separate from its original company-tied naming, see EDGE 90-day priorities for the current status.

EDGE is organised into functional modules, each covering a distinct operational area:

Payroll Management is the next planned module. Requirements are currently pending from the People & Culture team, a dependency outside EDGE's own development team.
How to think about EDGE versus POP
EDGE and POP (covered on the next page) can look similar at first glance, both are internal platforms with forms and workflows. The distinction that matters: EDGE is the transactional layer, its forms trigger actions with real budget, inventory, or asset consequences. POP is the process and compliance layer, its forms route approvals and track compliance rather than moving money or stock. Keeping this distinction clear matters when scoping future automation requests, since a request that touches budget or inventory belongs in EDGE, not POP.
Ownership
EDGE is currently owned by the Senior Full-Stack Developer, who is also taking over management of ADAM OS. Understanding EDGE's current module utilisation and setting a near-term roadmap with this developer is a priority, covered on the EDGE 90-day priorities page.
